Tourism students from the Sultan Qaboos University successfully completed their internship program in Germany this summer. As a result of the six weeks training, a book with the students’ reports and images from various field visits and meetings has now been published by INTEWO.

The reports address different tourism related attractions and activities in the Nature Park Teutoburger Wald / Eggegebirge. The students were focusing on special and innovative features of the regional Points of Interest in Germany and investigated if and where these characteristics could be applied for sustainable tourism development in their home country Oman.

The book, which also includes scores of pictures, is available as a free PDF download and can also be viewed online at www.intewo.org/squ.
